How to Get Collaborations?

How can I get more collaborations on Youdji? How can I rank higher in the search engine?

You haven’t had any collaborations on Youdji yet and you want to put all the chances on your side. You’re in the right place. Follow this guide to understand exactly what to do.

The hardest part is always getting your first collaborations, especially for profiles in very competitive categories (such as women aged 18 to 30). There’s no magic formula, but the tips below will help you maximise your visibility and your chances of being selected by brands.

How can brands contact you?

On Youdji, brands can discover your profile in four different ways:

  1. By browsing the search engine, which lists all our creators.
  2. By exploring the Discovery section, which highlights UGC videos from creators’ portfolios.
  3. From the campaigns you have applied to. You’ll receive campaigns directly by email.
  4. By accessing your profile link directly. Feel free to add it to your social networks or share it with your clients.

How can you increase your chances of being contacted?

1. Improve your Youdji profile

The quality of your profile is the most important element on Youdji. The more complete, clear and precise it is, the easier it is for brands to find you and want to contact you.

Make sure you have:

  • A high-quality profile picture, professional or at least neat and clear.
  • Recent and varied UGC, so brands can picture you creating different types of content.
  • Complete information for each of your videos (topic, product type, format, tone of voice, etc.), so brands can find you through the search engine.
  • A relevant and detailed bio. Mention your passions, lifestyle, personality and expertise. For example: “Passionate guitarist, mum of two, big motorbike lover”.
  • Your onboarding completed 100%. Every piece of information you add improves your visibility.

The more complete your profile is, the more Youdji will highlight it.

You can also browse the profiles of our top creators to find inspiration and ideas to improve your own.

2. Get reviews

Reviews are essential. They reassure brands and help you rank higher in search results.

When you’re just starting out on Youdji, getting your first review is often the hardest step. To speed this up, we strongly encourage you to invite your external clients to Youdji.

  • If your client doesn’t have a Youdji account yet: your first order with them is 100% free of commission.
  • If your client already has a Youdji account: the standard 20% commission applies.

In both cases, you benefit from all our features (secure payments, brief management, centralised messaging, etc.), and you can collect reviews that will give your profile a huge visibility boost.

You can invite as many clients as you like. The more reviews you have, the more trust you will inspire in brands.

3. Make sure your profile is available

Check that the “Available” status is enabled on your profile page. If your status is set to “Unavailable”, brands won’t be able to contact you.

You can also run a quick test: search for your first name in the search engine to make sure your profile appears among other creators.

How can you contact brands?

On Youdji, only brands can contact creators. You can’t initiate contact with brands directly from the platform.

This setup allows brands to keep control over their projects, and lets you focus on what you do best: creating great content.

How can you receive campaigns?

Brands can publish campaigns that creators apply to directly from Youdji.

You automatically receive new campaigns by email as soon as an opportunity matches your country, languages, rates and profile (topics, content style, etc.).

It is not possible to see a complete list of all ongoing campaigns on Youdji. You only see the campaigns that are truly relevant to you, to avoid spam and to offer you high‑quality opportunities.

In short: fully complete your profile, invite your clients to get your first reviews, and make sure your profile is set to available. With time and consistency, you’ll naturally rank higher in the search engine and receive more and more collaboration opportunities.
