# How Does the Youdji Contract Work?

On Youdji, you don't have to draft a contract for each creator. A ready-to-sign contract is generated from the offer, and you can also use your own.

## What is the Youdji contract?

It's a collaboration and rights transfer contract, pre-filled with your organization's information, the creator's information and the terms of the offer:

* the price and the number of pieces of content;
* the number of revisions and the delivery deadline;
* how the content can be used (organic, advertising or both) and the duration of the usage rights;
* the agreed options: script, editing, raw files, extra hooks, Spark Ads, Instagram Whitelisting.

It's included and free. With the Youdji contract, rights are granted worldwide and across all platforms: only the type of distribution and the duration vary. See the article **How does rights licensing work on Youdji?**

## How do you sign it?

Once the offer is paid, the contract is signed online with Yousign in a few clicks, by you and by the creator. A contract is signed for each collaboration.

You can review the contract before signing it, for example to have your legal team check it.

## How do you change a term?

The contract text can't be edited directly: it reflects the offer. To change a term (rights duration, number of revisions, option), have it changed in the offer before paying, and the contract will follow.

If the order is already paid, write to us: we can adjust the order once the creator confirms.

## Can I use my own contract?

Yes. You can use your own contract instead of the Youdji contract. If the order is already paid, we can replace the Youdji contract with yours once the creator confirms. In every case, payment goes through Youdji.

## Good to know

* The contract binds the brand and the creator to what was agreed, including the delivery deadline and how the content can be used.
* Youdji is not a law firm: for a specific need (regulated industry, content featuring children, distribution outside the planned uses), have your terms checked by your legal advisor.
