How the Youdji Balance Works
What Is the Youdji Balance?
The Youdji balance is a convenient payment method that allows you to build up a reserve of funds through bank transfers. You can then use this balance to pay for your orders on Youdji.
Note: The Youdji balance can only be used for payments in euros.
How Does the Balance Work?
1. Adding Funds to Your Balance
You can add funds to your Youdji balance by making a bank transfer to the unique IBAN assigned to your account.
- Bank transfers generally take 1 to 5 business days to be received.
- The money remains your property and will be automatically returned to you if unused within 90 days.
- For accounting purposes, you can download a pro forma invoice documenting your transfers. Final invoices will only be issued once orders are placed.

About Balance Invoicing
From an accounting perspective, the funds in your balance always remain your property.
As a result, final invoices are only issued when those funds are used to pay for an order.
To justify your top-up transfers, you have the option to download pro forma invoices for the amount of your choice.
Example:
- You top up your balance with €1,000 excl. VAT: you can download a pro forma invoice for €1,000 excl. VAT.
- You place a first order of €600 excl. VAT: a final invoice for €600 excl. VAT is issued.
- Your remaining balance is €400 excl. VAT.
- You place a second order of €400 excl. VAT: a final invoice for €400 excl. VAT is issued.
- Your balance is now €0 excl. VAT.
In total, you therefore have:
- one pro forma invoice of €1,000 excl. VAT,
- and two final invoices of €600 excl. VAT and €400 excl. VAT.
