Unfortunately, there is no magic solution, but the tips below will help you improve your visibility and increase your chances of being contacted by brands.

How can brands find you?

Brands can discover your profile on Youdji in four different ways:

By using the search engine, which lists every creator on the platform.
By browsing the Discovery section, which showcases UGC videos from creators' portfolios.
By reviewing the applications you submit to campaigns you've been invited to join.
By visiting your profile link directly. Don't hesitate to share it on your social media, in your email signature, or with your clients.

The quality of your profile is the single most important factor for your visibility on Youdji. The more complete your profile is, the easier it is for brands to find you and trust your work.

Make sure you have:

A clear, professional profile picture.
A portfolio with recent, diverse, and representative UGC videos.

Rules to Follow to Avoid Account Suspension

The following actions may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your account.

🚫 Sharing Your Contact Information

You are not allowed to share your contact details for the purpose of completing a collaboration outside of Youdji.

This includes:

Your email address
Your phone number
A link to your website or portfolio (for creators)
A link to your social media profiles
A link to a scheduling tool (e.g. Calendly, Cal.com)
Any message intended to bypass our service fees

🚫 Sending Your Own Payment Methods

You are not allowed to send:

Your invoices
Your quotes or estimates
An external payment link

All transactions must be completed through Youdji.

🚫 Offering Off-Platform Collaborations

On Youdji, rights licensing defines how a brand can use content created by a UGC creator, for how long, and in what type of distribution context. These parameters directly impact both the scope of usage and the price.

Important: on Youdji, rights are always granted worldwide and across all platforms. These elements are fixed. Only the type of distribution and the duration can vary.

The 2 types of content usage

When starting a collaboration, you need to define how the content will be distributed. There are two main options.

1. Organic distribution

Organic distribution refers to usage without any paid media spend. The content is shared عبر existing channels, without paid amplification.

Examples:

Posting on the brand’s social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Use on a website, newsletter, or blog
Non-sponsored reposts on the creator’s social media

👉 This type of usage is generally included in the creator’s base rate.

After the licensing period ends: Content that has already been published can remain online. However, it cannot be reused in new publications.

2. Paid distribution

How an Order Works on Youdji

Regardless of the payment method chosen, the payment process on Youdji follows a simple and secure flow:

Receive a personalized offer: A creator sends you an offer tailored to your needs.
Secure prepayment: You pay the offer upfront, but the funds are not immediately transferred to the creator. They are placed in a virtual escrow managed by Youdji. This step secures the collaboration by ensuring you have the necessary funds. If the creator fails to deliver the content, you can be reimbursed.
Immediate invoicing: Once the payment is made, your invoice is generated. It will be sent by email and will also be available from your order.
Content delivery: The creator delivers the content directly on the platform.
Approval or request for revisions: You can approve the delivered content or request adjustments if necessary.
Payment to the creator: Once the content is approved, the funds are released and paid to the creator.

Why is my profile not visible?

If your profile does not appear in our search engine, make sure to check the following information:

1. Your status is set to “Available”

On Youdji, you can enable or disable the availability of your profile. Make sure you’ve selected “Available” on your profile page.

2. You have a profile picture

Your profile picture is the first point of contact with brands on Youdji. It should look professional and reflect your unique style. To add your profile picture, go to your profile page and click on the image with your initials. Choose a photo that best represents you.

3. Your Stripe account is completed

In order to receive payments for your collaborations, you must link a valid Stripe account to your Youdji profile. Go to the “My Profile” section or your account page and follow the instructions to connect your Stripe account. This step is essential for you to receive payments.

4. Your profile is at least 80% complete

A complete profile is key to attracting quality brands. We ask all our creators to complete their profile to at least 85%. This includes details such as your portfolio and your rates. The more detailed your profile is, the higher your chances of being noticed by brands.

How to Cancel an Ongoing Order with a Creator?

If you placed an order on Youdji and wish to cancel it, here are the steps to follow:

On Youdji, creators can cancel their own orders. The first step is to explain your situation to them and ask them to cancel the order.

If the creator hasn’t started working on the project, there’s no reason they should refuse.

Once the order is canceled, you will be fully refunded via your original payment method. Please note that it may take several days for the refund to appear in your bank account.
